WBC Christmas Card Delivery
It’s that time again! Our Awana Staff is offering to WBC Church & Sunday School Members $0.25 Christmas Card Delivery starting November 30th thru December 16th. Drop-off Mailboxes will be located near the elevator on the lower level and upstairs on both sides of the Sanctuary, near the Choir room and Children’s Area. Cards can be picked up in the mailboxes located in the hallway behind the Sanctuary and some will be delivered to Sunday School Classrooms. Please place any payments in an envelope and mark it as “Christmas Card Delivery Payment“. You can leave payments in the Drop-off mailboxes or put them in the Offering plate during Services. All proceeds this year will again go towards WBC’s own “Gifts for Jesus”. We love this Christmas tradition at Washington and hope everyone enjoys giving and receiving all the Christmas Cards and saving a little on postage too!
With this year continuing to being so different and some of our Members not attending regularly; there may be more cards than normal that are not picked up. Unfortunately we will not be able to mail every card that isn’t picked up. For your convenience, if you would like any of your cards that are left behind to be returned to you, just include your return name on the envelope and we’ll be able get them back to you. Thanks so much!

RA & GA Christmas Mission Project
Dear Church Family,
The RAs and GAs are wanting to help Connie Maxwell Children’s Home again this year. For those members who do not know about Connie Maxwell, it is an orphanage that is sponsored by Southern Baptist in Greenwood, S. C. There are 11 cottages (8 children per cottage). They are currently serving 65 children on the Greenwood Campus. They also serve 5 college students, 2 single moms and their 2 year old sons, and 10 Foster Families.
Last year, you may remember, we helped one cottage that housed children who had been taken out of their homes and would not go home for Christmas. We also gave them a party, which we cannot do this year. However, this year we felt that helping the orphanage as a whole would give many more people the support that they need at this time. Therefore, if more than one item is given, such as a set of sheets, then it can be used in the various cottages. A tree has been set up in the children’s department of the church. It will have the items listed on each ornament. Please take an ornament and when you purchase the gift, put that tag on the gift, if possible. Gift cards may be put in envelopes and other gifts need to be put in gift bags. Gifts may be placed in the GA room that is next to the tree. The gifts will be delivered to Connie Maxwell on December 7. Please have your gift here before December 7. If you have any questions please contact Nan Spearman at 864-360-4891.
Thanks in advance for your help! May God bless you!
